Experience is what you get when u don't

Things we must learn from our last islands hopping trip :

- Buy a backpack… cute luggage with wheels is really not suitable for islands hopping trip. My heart cried when my cute luggage draged on the rocks or when they threw it to pick up truck.

-Bring cream make up… everything which is not fragile. So you don’t have to worry your blush or eye-shadow..etc..will break

-Seriously, no high heel and disco ball party dress required

-Bring flash light , yup,our first hotel in Ko Tao was in the middle of nowhere.... even though we were move out then

-Bring tan lotion, just in case the sun don’t shine…. Unfortunately when we were there, it was pretty cloudy (and even a little rainy),

- And please….oh please…. Learn how to drive motorcycle….

Between Ko Samui, Ko Phangan and Ko Tao. We both agree Koh Tao is our favourite island.

One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things

Dearest Gibunk, I'm typing it on small table at restaurant in Tan Son Nhat airport. Yup, I'm in Ho Chi Minh. I had a really great time in here. Anyone who ever came here five or six years ago will see that Ho Chi Minh has changed. Saigon, officially re-named Ho Chi Minh City is a thriving metropolis. Ho Chi Minh has grown up in a hurry . These are photos of my first night in Ho Chi Minh. After landed and put the suitcases in my friend's apartment, I went straight to Quan An Ngon restaurant. It always pack with both local and tourists. The atmosphere is chaotic : a cacophony of laughing, chattering guests, shouting waiters, and clanging pots and pans. Seating is a mix of regular table dining in the central colonial or in the balcony or courtyard out back. The main building is surrounded by cooking stations.

Better if you go with someone who can explain some of regional specialities. I couldn't imagine what kind of food it was even though is clearly explained on the menu.

I ordered my favourite vietnamese food, spring roll. But I have to wrap themself. It's kinda homework for me.

After dinner, I took a walk on the sidewalk. Pleasant to walk at night in Ho Chi Minh.

Dearest Gibunk, For the past few weeks of not blogging, yet so many things had happened since I last updated. 1. I've lost 4 kg. YEAAAAAH! 2. Now my hair is black, in these photos I still have red hair like angry wig's Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek 3. Now I do yoga, almost everyday I attend any yoga classes. and hey... yoga poses are very useful for my photo pose.
